The Letters of Resignation Journey

I have set the LORD always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.

Psalm 16:8

Past.

Picture a woman propelled by her own passions, desires, and carefully curated decisions—convinced that her momentum was synonymous with obedience. She spoke the language of faith, whispered yes to God in the quiet, and believed she was walking in step with Christ. Yet it wasn’t until a divine interruption—gentle, unmistakable, and holy—that she realized her path had been shaped more by ambition than surrender.
The Letters of Resignation journey was born in that sacred collision. What began as a single resignation letter—stepping away from a six‑figure corporate career—became a spiritual unravelling and re‑commissioning. It marked the moment I laid down the life I built to pursue the destiny God authored. A journey of releasing what I thought I needed, so I could finally embrace what Heaven had been calling me into all along.

Present.

After my yes in both heart and mouth finally aligned, God began the molding He had long desired to do—the shaping I had avoided, resisted, and quietly feared. It wasn’t glamorous. It wasn’t instant. It was the slow, holy work of being undone and remade. In this present chapter, I am learning that obedience is not a moment but a rhythm, a daily surrender that stretches me beyond what I once believed I could bear.
I am still making mistakes. Still unlearning patterns that once felt like survival. Still relearning what it means to trust, to rest, to follow without demanding the blueprint. And I am doing it surrounded by others who are walking their own refining journeys—people who remind me that sanctification is communal, that growth is rarely linear, and that grace is generous enough to hold every stumble. This is the present: the in‑between space where God shapes what He called forth, chiseling away the old so the new can breathe.

Future.

As God continues to shape what He began, the future unfolds not as a destination but as a divine becoming. I am stepping into a season where obedience is no longer a wrestle, but a posture—where my surrendered yes becomes the soil for whatever God desires to plant next. The road ahead is marked by expectancy, not certainty; by trust, not timelines.
I move forward knowing the refining will continue—new lessons, new stretching, new invitations to grow beyond the borders of who I’ve been. I anticipate more unlearning, more relearning, more holy interruptions that redirect me toward purpose. And I walk into that future with a community of believers who are also being shaped, also being called higher, also learning to say yes with their whole lives. What lies ahead is not yet fully seen, but it is certainly evident. I am becoming the woman God imagined when He first whispered destiny over my life—one step, one surrender, one genuine yes at a time.
